About the Project

This countryside residence required a luxury decking installation that would complement the property’s contemporary architecture and open garden setting. LuxeDeck designed and installed a large premium decking area with a clean, modern layout, stepped access and detailed border finishing. The result was an elegant outdoor terrace that extended the living space of the home and created a high-end area for everyday relaxation and hosting.

Project Overview

This bespoke Millboard decking installation transformed the rear of the property into a luxury outdoor living space designed around comfort, style and long-term performance. The aim was to create a generous decked area that felt connected to the home while offering a beautiful, practical surface for outdoor use.

Our Process

Site Assessment & Planning:

We began by assessing the property layout, garden levels, access points and the way the client wanted to use the outdoor space. The planning stage focused on creating a high-end decking area that would work naturally with the home and provide enough space for relaxation, dining and entertaining.

Design & Layout:

The deck layout was designed to create a clean, open and luxurious outdoor terrace. Board direction, seating zones, step placement and border detailing were carefully planned to complement the property’s architecture and enhance the overall finish.

Subframe Preparation:

A strong and carefully prepared subframe was installed to create the correct foundation for the decking. This stage ensured the finished terrace would feel stable, level and suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Millboard Decking Installation

Enhanced Grain Millboard decking was installed with close attention to alignment, spacing, joins and edge detailing. The installation was planned to create a premium timber-look finish while offering the durability and low-maintenance performance expected from Millboard decking.

Finishing & Detailing:

The final stage focused on the stepped access, border details, perimeter finish and overall presentation of the terrace. Each area was checked carefully to ensure the completed deck delivered the clean, luxury finish expected for a private residence of this standard.
